After attending UWC, Supriya studied Political Science and International Relations from Brown University in Rhode Island and was an UTRA [Undergraduate Training and Research Award] recipient. In order to pursue her interest in developmental work and community engagement, she joined the Indian Police Service in the year 2017. She is currently serving in Shillong, Meghalaya. While her work profile is dynamic and includes various jobs such as investigation of cases, management of law and order, public welfare and others, she specialises in investigation of crimes against women and children. In her free time, Supriya enjoys reading, training in karate, dancing and public policy discussions.
