The UWC movement provides opportunities for highly motivated young people from diverse backgrounds to develop critical consciousness of the issues and the cause of division in our world. Our graduates are politically and environmentally aware agents of change, with a lifelong commitment to seeking creative solutions to global, regional and local conflicts.

In India, the national committee works with schools, NGOs and government bodies across the country to find young people with the promise and potential for leadership and social impact. Our cohort covers the spectrum of students from refugee communities in Dharmsala to those from elite schools in Mumbai. This deliberate diversity in the classroom is what makes our education unique and so transformational and what we need help with.

UWC India is an autonomous public trust, registered with the Charity Commissioner and 80G certified. We have no affiliations with any governmental or corporate entities and conduct all our initiatives independently.

Your contribution will galvanize our efforts in maintaining deliberate diversity in the cohort of students selected from India to attend one of the United World Colleges worldwide. With your help, we can make selections to UWC India a fully need-blind admissions process where financial constraints have no bearing on UWC access for our young leaders in the making.
